Lesa Monet began her music journey over 30 years ago as a performer at the young age of sixteen.
Her years of experience and passion have allowed her the opportunity to open a private, artist development & vocal performance studio, where students are offered the education and experience they will need to better pursue their music direction and career.
“Music with Monet” Artist Development & Productions is a unique vocal performance instructional studio. Each student has the opportunity to receive hands on performance experience, including many different venues via “Music with Monet.”
As a performing artist, songwriter, producer, stage manager and instructor, Miss Monet understands the importance of “artist development” and of the originality of each student.
Her goal is to open doors of discovery and to help in the development of each student's style, while capturing their artistic vocal design.
Serving as the Kansas City American Royal "Superstar" competition stage manager, she understands what the music industry looks for and incorporates this into her curriculum.
Lesa Monet is also a songwriter for hire. She writes and produces for many of her students, as well as, clients who are pursuing their careers as “original” performing artists.
February 26th, 2008 Lesa Monet launched a new, monthly show in Kansas City, where she showcases many of these new & upcoming performing artists, along with her developing and developed artist students.
Lesa is proud to announce her newest position and opportunity as the Music Supervisor for Kansas City After Hours TV Show. She looks forward to working with Executive Producer & Host of the show, Darron Story. www.kansascityafterhours.com
Applying her years of experience and tutelage for many in the music field, she will be responsible for providing and booking the musical guests for the show.
